New Huelsbeck CD to be released in December |

[UPDATED]: The time has come. The concert album "Symphonic Shades" featuring the music of video game music legend Chris Hülsbeck will be released on December 17, 2008. The CD contains all of the compositions that were presented live in concert on August 23, 2008 in Cologne, Germany.
"At last, fans will be able to listen to the music of the concerts in the highest quality even if they were unable to attend in person due to the overwhelming demand for tickets from all over the world." says Thomas Böcker, Executive Producer of the concerts and the CD album.
The CD, with a running time of about 70 minutes, is available for 22,00 EUR (MSRP) and can be ordered at the MAZ Sound Tools GmbH. The MAZ Sound Tools GmbH is now also offering mp3 snippets of the CD album. |

Merregnon members at Symphonic Game Music Concert |

Several Merregnon members will attend this year's Fifth Symphonic Game Music Concert on August 22, 2007: Andy Brick, Chris Huelsbeck, Allister Brimble, Yuzo Koshiro, Olof Gustafsson and Jonne Valtonen will join the event.
Jonne Valtonen will come to the Leipziger Gewandhaus for the first time. He orchestrated several pieces for the latest concert including the C64- and Amiga-Medley, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Secret of Mana.

New Chris Huelsbeck album announced |

4Players.de just revealed that video game music veteran Chris Huelsbeck is planning to release a new album - after ten years of silence. Release date of the new album: August 22, 2007. The CD will be sold for the first time at the Fifth Symphonic Game Music Concert exclusively. Chris Huelsbeck will stand available for an autograph session at the Gewandhaus concert hall.
Chris Huelsbeck explained that the album (Catalogue number: HCD9) will come with new electronic music, no remixes of old games, although the style is going to be retro mainly. A first preview can be downloaded at the website of 4Players.de.
